Daily Food Offering

Buddhist monks in the Theravada Thai Forest Tradition depend on the lay community for their daily meal, which must be consumed between dawn and midday. The lay community prepares and delivers the food to the monastery by 10:15 AM for the 10:30 AM food offering to the resident monks.

You are welcome to offer the daily meal to the monks on any day of your choice.

Below is the Dana (Generosity) roster, where you can sign up for a day to offer the meal. This helps the resident monks know that a donor will be available to provide the meal on that day.
