Ordination Ceremony

You are welcome to join the ordination ceremony of two Buddhist Monks on Sunday, 19th July 2026. On this occasion, we are marking the auspicious day of Asalha Puja, the day the Buddha gave the Dhammachakkhapavattana Sutta and set in motion the wheel of the Dhamma. The program will begin with rice pindabat at 10:30 am, followed by a blessing chant from the Sangha, then a shared meal. At 11:45 am, the Ordination ceremony will begin, after which the Sangha will lead the lay people on circumambulating the Chedi with candles and flowers to remember this special day.
