This years annual tree planting day is near. This year, we are encouraging each participant to bring their own tree to plant in dedication to their family and friends. The planting will begin after Dana on Saturday, 27th June. This is a great opportunity to plant a tree for the environment and for future generations to have the cool shade of a forest here in the Monastery to practice and live. Hope to see you there. The types of trees best suited to our area are gum trees such as Sugar Gum, River Red Gum, Pink Gum, and Shea Oak. Please remember that whatever tree you decide to bring should be native and drought-resistant. These can be purchased from your local nursery or Bunnings,  Anumodana
