Grand Opening Of the Subhaddachetiya 2nd May 2027

On Sunday, 2 May 2027, Bodhipala Monastery will host the Grand Opening Ceremony and the Official Enshrinement of the Holy Buddha Relics in the Subhaddhachetiya Chedi.

We are honoured to welcome many senior members of the Sangha from both overseas and across Australia to participate in this historic occasion.

The celebrations will span four days, beginning on Thursday, 29 April 2027, and will include a traditional ordination ceremony, a full-day meditation retreat featuring several respected guest teachers. The event will culminate on Sunday, 2 May 2027, with the Official Grand Opening of the Subhaddhachetiya Chedi and the enshrinement of the Holy Buddha Relics
