A Stupa/Chedi for South AustraliaThe Subhaddachetiya Project.
On 16 March 2025, the foundation stone for the Subhaddhachetiya Chedi (Stupa) — a Buddhist monument designed in the Northern Thai style — was laid by Phra Brohmavajiranyanasophon (Luang Por Liem Thitadhammo), Abbot of Wat Nong Pah Pong.
Construction officially commenced on 7 August 2025, with completion scheduled for early 2027. The Grand Opening and Relic Enshrinement Ceremony is planned for 25 April 2027.
