On the 16th of January every year, branch monasteries from around the world gather together at Venerable Ajahn Chah's Monastery, Wat Nong Pa Pong in Ubon Ratchathani Thailand, to recollect and show respects and gratitude for the teaching and guidance of Venerable Ajahn Chah. This year Bodhipala Monastery will hold a public program.
Day program:
10:00am. Lay people arrive at the monastery
10:30am. Rice Pindabat followed by blessing chant from the monks
11:30am. Dhamma Talk
Evening program:
6:30pm. Sitting meditation
7:00pm. Chanting
7:30pm. Broadcast Dhamma Talk from Tan Ajahn Kalyano
8:15pm. Recitation of respect to Venerable Ajahn Chah and asking forgiveness
