We are coming to the end of the annual rains retreat which finishes on the 21st of October. This year Bodhipala Monastery plans to hold a Forest Cloth offering ceremony (also known as PaBa in Thai) on Sunday 7th November 2021.
This is traditionally a time the laity come together to express their anumodana and support, for the Sangha who spent the rains retreat residing in the Monastery, through offerings of material requisites such as cloth for robe making, monastery requisites and consumables as well as financial donations towards the construction of the Monastery.
This year's Paba is extra special as it will be the first event held in the newly renovated Dhamma Sala building which the Monks and Laity have been working together to complete before the Paba event.
