You are welcome to join us for a day of practice to mark the occasion of Magha Puja, the day in which 1250 Fully enlightened disciples of the Buddha gathered without prior arrangement to pay respects to the Buddha at the Bamboo grove at Veluvana Monastery.
On this occasion the Buddha taught the Ovadapatimokkha to the congregation of disciples. To mark this occasion Bodhipala Monastery will be holding a day of practice beginning at 8:30am Sunday 1st March until 4pm. All are welcome whether beginner or experienced meditator. We suggest loose fitting white clothing or white top and black lower garments, no registration is necessary.
